WHAT IS CACSMA ?

 
 
CACSMA is a network of individuals and corporate members (suppliers, fabricators, equipment manufacturers, distributors, consultants, technologists, research centers, materials specialists, researchers, teachers, and government employees) working to develop and enhance new and existing applications for composites structures and materials.
CACSMA industry members are drawn from small, medium and large enterprises and hold at least one-third of the elected positions on its Board of Directors.

 
CACSMA ACTIVITIES
  • Assist Canadian industry to remain competitive by staying up to date with scientific and technological developments in the composites industry in Canada and abroad.
  • Create new and strengthen existing communication linkages for the extensive and rapid diffusion of composite materials technologies.
  • Encourage the application of composites in all sectors (where there is a benefit to do so).
  • Facilitate representation to government to support market-driven composites activities.
  • Foster the creation of R & D alliances involving composites.
  • Network with other national and international materials organizations, trade associations, standards bodies and professional societies.
  • Promote Canadian composites capabilities internationally.
  • Support composites companies located in Canada who are looking to expand their markets, whether nationally, internationally or both.
